Over 300 delegates from across the globe attended the Ipex 2010 Exhibitor Day at the NEC, Birmingham, UK last week to find out how to maximise their presence at the international Ipex 2010 exhibition which will take place from 18th - 25th May 2010.

Dr. John Warnock and Dr. Charles (Chuck) Geschke, the co-founders of Adobe Systems Incorporated, have been honoured with the global Ipex 2010 'Champions in Print' awards which acknowledge the huge contribution of those who have influenced and shaped the development of the printing industry.

Following the success of Ipex 2010's international roadshows in the Netherlands, Germany, China, France, Japan and Italy (in September), the team will arrive at the Ipex South Asia exhibition in Mumbai, India, on 24th October, to host the next leg of its global tour from 17:00 to 18:30 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre.

The city of Milan will provide the backdrop for the next stop of Ipex's global marketing tour on Wednesday, 23rd September when Ricoh Italia will host the seventh leg of the international roadshow, from 10:00 to 15:00.

To help visitors optimise their time at the international Ipex 2010 exhibition (18th - 25th May 2010 , NEC Birmingham UK), the organisers have launched a new interactive, online planning tool called 'My Ipex' (www.ipex.org/myipex) which visitors to the event can use to devise personalised itineraries.

Pre-registration for all those wishing to attend Ipex 2010 is now officially available via www.ipex.org/register and will result in a £30.00 saving off the entrance fee. The show organisers have confirmed that there will be free fast-track entry for all pre-registered visitors to the international event which will take place from 18th - 25th May 2010 at the NEC in Birmingham UK.

'Champions in Print' is an exciting new global initiative from the organisers of Ipex 2010 that aims to recognise and celebrate individuals who have shaped and influenced the printing industry across the world. These include, but are not limited to, those who have developed groundbreaking technology, produced stunning applications, executed challenging projects, created iconic designs or delivered excellent customer service.

Ipex 2010 continues to attract an impressive line up of existing and new exhibitors - a sign that exhibitors view the event as a key part of their 2010 sales and marketing strategy. The latest companies to confirm their attendance include printing press manufacturer KBA with 777 square metres, Up Group, Optimus and Zechini.

As part of their brand new Knowledge Centre area, the organisers of Ipex 2010 are creating special packages for national and international not-for-profit organisations who wish to exhibit at the event. This will heighten the Ipex experience for a wide group of bodies that were previously placed in less central locations around various exhibition halls.

The organisers of Ipex 2010 have announced a global 'Recession Buster' initiative designed to help all exhibitors save money during the current challenging economic climate. From reductions on stand build, rigging, production waste handling and storage to budget accommodation options and subsistence packages, the initiative offers attractive cost-saving measures for exhibitors in the run up to and during the event.
