With only 100 days to go until the NEC in Birmingham, UK, opens its doors for eight days from 18th May 2010 to visitors from around the world, Ipex 2010 has entered the final countdown stage. Over 550 stand holders are signed up thus far, representing over 1,000 companies across more than 60,000 square metres of floor space.

The Ipex organisers have revealed the final line-up of companies that will participate at the Ipex 2010 Media Summit, which will take place from 7th – 11th February at the ExCeL Centre in London. Canon Europe, C.P. Bourg, Domino Printing Sciences, Fujifilm Europe, Océ, Pitney Bowes, Red Tie, Ricoh and Xerox will give journalists from over 100 global publications an exclusive preview on what they will showcase at Ipex 2010.

The brand new Ipex 2010 Knowledge Centre (www.ipex.org/knowledge) has been greeted enthusiastically by a wide range of not-for-profit organisations around the world. Designed to heighten the visitor experience and maximise time at the event, the Knowledge Centre provides an easily accessible information hub where visitors can seek advice from trade association about memberships, pensions, industry accreditation, best industry practice as well as educational matters.

Produced by world print authority, Pira International in association with Ipex, the Great Print Debates will bring together experts, thought leaders and high-profile industry representatives from 18-25 May 2010.

Visitors to Ipex 2010 can expect to discover an impressive line up of new wide format products with a number of wide format suppliers already committed to launching new technology at the show. Wide format companies already confirmed on the floor plan include Agfa, Canon, Durst, EFI, Epson, Fotoba, Fujifilm, HP, Kodak, Mimaki Engineering, Oc, Roland, Screen, Vivid Laminating and Xerox.

Continuing its initiative to recognise 'Champions in Print' who have made a significant contribution to the printing and graphic arts industry, the Ipex 2010 Advisory Committee has named Lord Bob Gavron as the sixth Ipex 2010 winner of this accolade.

The organisers of Ipex 2010 have launched IpexTV - a new section on Ipex's website (www.ipex.org) to engage with both its exhibitor and visitor communities in a more creative and interactive way. Starting in November, the Ipex team will upload regular 'video-blogs' to communicate news about Ipex 2010 initiatives, visitor and exhibitor updates as well as broadcast short interviews with prominent industry figures.

With exhibitors taking over 55,000m2 of floorspace and pre-registration fast reaching 6,000, Ipex 2010 is set to become a highlight in the international graphic arts event calendar next year.

More than 35 Chinese manufacturers and suppliers have already confirmed their stand bookings at Ipex 2010, adding more than 1,600 sqm of floor space to the international event which will take place from 18th - 25th May 2010 at the NEC in Birmingham, UK.

Organised by IIR Exhibitions (an Informa business), the official Ipex 2010 Media Summit will take place in the modern South Gallery conference facilities at the ExCel Centre in London from 7th - 11th February 2010. Providing an impressive group of 100 international media and influencers with an exclusive preview on what will be on offer at Ipex 2010, a selection of key exhibitors will have the opportunity to present their product news, marketing strategy and future vision throughout the conference programme.
