Informa Exhibitions has announced that the date of Ipex Digital Latin America has changed. The event will now take place from Wednesday 17^th April to Saturday 20^th April 2013 at theTransamerica Expo Center, São Paulo, Brazil.

Wayne Beckett has been promoted to the position of Sales Director – Ipex Print Group, while Andrew Thornhill joins the company as Marketing Manager – Informa Exhibitions. Both Wayne and Andrew will play key roles in supporting the Ipex portfolio which includes the continued growth of its online resource Ipex World [www.ipex.org], as well as the sales activity for Ipex 2014, the largest English speaking global technology event for print, publishing and media.

Serigrafia visitor numbers increase following acquisition by Informa Exhibitions Brasil LTDA

Serigrafia, co located with SIGN and FutureTEXTIL, the largest sign, screen and digital imaging show in South America, achieved its broadest ever reach under the new ownership of Informa Exhibitions Brasil LTDA. Taking place at the Expo Center Norte Exhibition Centre in Sao Paulo, Brazil from 20^th to 23^rd July, the exhibition attracted 450 exhibitors and over 45,000 visitors from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombiaand a number of Central American countries. This represents an increase in visitor numbers of over 11% from the exhibition in 2010, giving an indication of the ongoing growth and success of the event.

Ipex 2010 has scooped top honours at the Association of Event Organisers Ltd (AEO) Awards Ceremony, where it was named ‘Best Tradeshow Exhibition’ in the category for events over 2,000m².

Informa Exhibitions Brasil LTDA acquisition secures presence in wide format, Sign, Screen & Textile Sectors

Informa Exhibitions, which owns and organises one of the largest print related exhibitions in the world, IPEX, also announces that Informa Exhibitions Brasil LTDA has completed the acquisition of the assets and business operations of the Ibratexpo Feiras e Eventos LTDA, based in Sao Paulo, which includes Serigrafia, the largest sign, screen and digital imaging show in South America. The acquisition of Serigrafia along with its sister shows Sign and FutureTEXTIL, as well as the related magazine titles Sign and Silk Screen, provides Informa with a strong presence in the growing wide format, sign, textile and promotional marketing sectors. It also underlines Informa Exhibitions focus to extend further the worldwide reach of the IPEX brand and to capture the potential of emerging markets.
