Fujifilm announces commercial availability of Acuity LED 1600 UV inkjet printer at FESPA Digital 2012

Fujifilm today announces that its latest UV printer, the Acuity LED 1600, will be shown for the first time at a pan-European exhibition at FESPA Digital 2012 (21st – 24th February, Barcelona), with the show also marking the commercial availability of the device. Visitors to the Fujifilm stand (K50) will have the opportunity to experience first-hand all of the innovative features of this hybrid roll-fed/flatbed LED UV printer which is built around proprietary Fujifilm technologies.

Fujifilm today announces that its euromedia brand has updated its image, and can be seen in its new guise on stand K50 at FESPA Digital 2012 (21st – 24th February), in Barcelona. The updated brand image makes the most of the euromedia qualities of innovation, quality and reliability as well as environmental responsibility and transparency, and is now supported by a new ‘Gecko’ mascot, already familiar to many people from Fujifilm’s innovative WonderTack product.

Fujifilm announces new XMF ColorPath Sync cloud-based colour calibration system

Fujifilm today announces the launch at FESPA Digital 2012 of XMF ColorPath Sync, a cloud-based colour calibration system that allows printers to set up and manage compliance to printing standards including, for instance, ISO 12647-2. When used with Fujifilm’s “Pro-File” brand of screen and UV inkjet inks, which have been optimised to facilitate cross-process colour control, printers with both screen and wide format equipment have a simple and reliable way of managing compliance to target printing standards.

Inca Onset S20 from Fujifilm more than fulfils Odessa expectations

Six months after its first investment in a digital flatbed — an Inca Onset S20 printer supplied by Fujifilm — Odessa Offset reports that the inkjet machine is already handling 15% of production at the outdoor media and retail POS specialist. The Inca Onset S20 forms part of a £1 million investment by Odessa in digital wide-format capacity, designed to complete the company’s full-service, design-to-print solution and help drive turnover above the £10 million mark by the end of 2012.
