Fujifilm XMF joins forces with Metrix 2010

Combination of XMF workflow and Metrix 2010 job planning to provide efficiency and productivity improvements for printers

FUJIFILM Europe today announces that it has entered into partnership with LithoTechnics Inc to supply Metrix 2010, an automated job planning system, as an extension to Fujifilm’s XMF suite of workflow solutions. The partnership is part of a continuous drive by Fujifilm to offer its customers the necessary solutions to streamline production processes, increase efficiencies and stay competitive.

DCL Print goes ‘lo-chem’ with Fujifilm for greener print, shorter lead times and increased productivity

DCL Print Ltd was first established as a business forms print supplier in the early eighties. In 2004, it was bought by Simon Smode and Robin Humphries to become joint owners with one of the founders, Gary Curran. The company was originally based in Feltham, Middlesex, but moved to its existing site in Crawley, West Sussex, in 2006. With an annual turnover of £3.5million and 44 employees, DCL Print advocates a strong environmental policy. It already has FSC & PEFC accreditations as well as a continuous waste reduction programme, and is also working towards the ISO 14001 standard.

Web start-up Grapho Media chooses wide range of Fujifilm products to sit at the heart of the business

Grapho Media, the UK’s first web start-up in over 10 years, has opted for a range of Fujifilm products to help drive the new business venture. Alongside Fujifilm’s XMF cross-media workflow, the company has supplied a ‘lo-chem’ plate production solution, comprising PlateRite 8800S B1 platesetter, FLH-Z ‘ZAC’ processor and Brillia HD LH-PJE plates, together with a number of pressroom solutions from Fujifilm’s PRESSMAX range.
