FESPA Strengthens Sales Support Team With New Appointments
Release date: 01.11.2007
FESPA is strengthening its sales support team with new appointments. Nova Abbott has been appointed sales executive, further building on the organisation's sales support team, as it gains greater momentum on a number of new and exciting products and events. Based at the organisation's headquarters in Reigate, Surrey, she will be reporting to managing director, Frazer Chesterman.
Nova brings with her several years experience, in sales roles in the UK and Far East Asia. Nova will work on all FESPA accounts. However, with fluency in English, Taiwanese, Mandarin and Cantonese and with conversational Japanese, she will focus mainly on the Asian marketplace, as FESPA's presence continues to grow in this region - demonstrated by the recent addition of Japan and Korea as member associations - particularly in the run up to FESPA Asia-Pacific in Bangkok, November 28th - 30th 2008.
Nova's role will entail liaising with exhibitors, exploring new prospects and business development, leveraging her previous sales experience, in combination with her excellent linguistic skills, to help drive and grow FESPA's global network in this fast-growing market.
Marcus Timson, event director on FESPA Asia-Pacific, comments: 'We are delighted that Nova has joined our team and are confident that her experience will contribute significantly to the continued success of the sales team and the organisation as a whole. As the leading event organiser for the international screen and digital printing industry, we are constantly looking to grow our global network, particularly in emerging markets, such as Asia-Pacific. With her excellent sales track-record, multi-lingual skills and cultural knowledge of the region, Nova's appointment re-affirms FESPA's commitment to Asia-Pacific, as we look to continue building our community of vendors and print service providers there.'
With its increased level of sales activity, FESPA has also appointed French speaking Katherine Parkhouse as sales administrator and credit controller to support the team. She will be supporting the sales team and will report also to Frazer Chesterman, managing director.
