Tailored programme addresses needs of printers in Benelux, Germany, Switzerland, France and UK

FESPA is hosting its first European Congress on 19^th November 2010 in Brussels, with the support of six of FESPA’s national member associations in north-western Europe.

More than 100 industry leaders from across the EMEA region will gather in November 2010 for the first FESPA EMEA Summit in Istanbul (23^rd- 24^th November 2010). The event, which will attract delegates looking to stay ahead of the competition and equip themselves with essential knowledge, is set to enhance future business success through a series of industry focused sessions designed to inspire innovation.

Visitors and exhibitors have hailed the third FESPA Mexico (26^th- 28^th August 2010) an outstanding success. Attracting nearly 9000 visitors to the three day fair, many exhibitors commented that it was the busiest show they had been to in a long time and that sale targets were readily achieved if not surpassed.

The first meeting of FESPA’s Americas Steering Group took place during FESPA 2010 in Munich. The Group was brought together to represent all FESPA’s stakeholder groups in the Americas, including exhibitors, print service providers, regional business support organisations, media and sector analysts.

The top winners of FESPA’s 2010 Awards received their prizes at the Gala Dinner at Munich’s Nockherberg on Friday 25^th June.

Laut des jüngsten Worldwide Survey der FESPA sind deutsche Druckunternehmen für Großformate im internationalen Vergleich führend, wenn es um die Auffassung, dass digitale Herstellung die Plattform für zukünftiges Wachstum ist, geht.  Mehr als 69 % der deutschen Druckunternehmen, verglichen mit nur 50,5 % weltweit, sind der Auffassung, dass eine exklusive Digitaldruckproduktion das Erfolgsrezept für die Branche für Großdruckformate ist.

This year’s FESPA Mexico 2010, taking place from 26 – 28 August 2010 (Centro Banamex, Mexico City) is set to be the biggest FESPA Mexico show to date, with a 40% increase in exhibitor floor space, and significant commitment from international exhibitors.

Opportunities arising from the shift to digital production are keeping printers optimistic for the future of their individual businesses despite the downturn, according to FESPA’s third Worldwide Survey, the results of which are published today.

The first FESPA Global Summit - which took place from 25-26 March 2010 in Miami, Florida, USA - called for stronger business leadership and a strategic commitment to innovation for print service providers to grow again out of the downturn.

FESPA expects to run the first FESPA Americas in Orlando, Florida, from 24-26 February 2011, alongside Graphics of the Americas, pending final confirmation of an agreement with the Printing Association of Florida.
