FESPA Brasil to run beside ExpoPrint Digital to offer comprehensive print showcase

FESPA is forming a joint venture with Brazilian event company APS, the organiser of ExpoPrint, the largest digital printing event in Latin America. The joint venture company’s first initiative will be to launch FESPA Brasil alongside ExpoPrint Digital 2013, which takes place in Expo Center Norte, São Paulo, from 13-16 March 2013.

AEDES, the Spanish trade association representing the interests of screen and digital wide format print service providers, has rebranded as FESPA España Asociación, adopting the brand of its umbrella federation of trade associations.

The latest FESPA Economy Survey has revealed that 70% of respondents are looking to diversify their business to improve business growth. The top areas in which print service providers (PSPs) plan to develop into are interiors (17.4%), label printing (16.67%) and signage (15.53%).

FESPA has recently announced that it will expand the global reach of its long-running Planet Friendly Printing initiatives.

Rebrand highlights value to members of association’s role as FESPA’s UK member association

Prism, the UK trade association representing the interests of screen and digital wide format print service providers, has rebranded as FESPA UK Association, adopting the brand of its umbrella federation of trade associations.

FESPA’s Managing Director of Exhibitions and Events Neil Felton has been appointed to sit on the Board of the AEO (Association of Event Organisers).

FESPA event to return to Munich after stops in Barcelona (2012) and London (2013)

FESPA Digital Man has started mapping his journey beyond 2013, picking Munich, Germany, as the destination for the 2014 Digital event. The dates for the 2014 event are confirmed as Tuesday 20^th to Friday 23rd May.

FESPA is expanding its Exhibitions and Events team with the appointment of Geraldine Chiverton (45 years old) as Business Development Manager, reporting to managing director Neil Felton.

FESPA’s Slovakian (Sietotlacovy zvaz SR) and Czech (Sitotiskovy svaz CR) member associations will join together from 14^th – 15^th October 2011 in Piešťany, Slovakia, to deliver their 7^th FESPA supported seminar, ‘Bill 7’. This annual seminar attracts screen and digital printers from across Eastern Europe to discover the latest industry trends and insights applicable to their business. Supported by FESPA as part of its Reinvestment Programme, Bill 7 is also open to students from the region by invitation.

FESPA has teamed up with EskoArtwork, the global developer of workflow, automation and quality assurance solutions, to offer members of FESPA’s national associations a series of promotional offers on Esko Artwork products.
