Domino North America Digital Printing Group has announced a significant addition to its range of control systems for the high-volume mailing market thanks to a co-operation with industry leaders Lexmark and Lake Image Systems.
Domino is set to line-up its D-Series plus scribing laser system and G-Series thermal ink jet printer as part of its new products showcase at ACHEMA 2009 in Frankfurt, Germany. Both systems are designed to reproduce high-quality variable data on products and product packaging within the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors and meet the ever-present need to address changing industry trends in coding and marking applications. In particular the new introductions respond to the widespread migration from linear barcodes to 2D codes for unique identification.
