interpack 2011 sees global product identification and traceability specialist Domino add to its new i-Tech intelligent Technology product range with launches including a high performance D-Series scribing laser, a cassette version of its V-Series thermal transfer overprinter and a new G-Series thermal ink jet printer.

Domino, global product identification and traceability specialist, recently introduced its new range of coding and marking technology to UK customers at a series of events held at Bar Hill, Liverpool and Stirling. Visitors, that included leading household names from the food, soft drinks and pharmaceutical sectors, saw demonstrations of its service-free A320i continuous ink jet (CIJ) printer, as well as the new V-Series thermal transfer overprint (TTO) and D-Series laser coding ranges.

The occasion was marked with a presentation to PT Frisian Flag Indonesia, the purchaser of unit no. 10,000, at its Pasar Rebo plant in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Russian gum manufacturer chooses top quality laser coders for production site

Following an installation of over 40 Domino coders, gum manufacturer Dirol, part of the Cadbury Corporation, is enjoying significantly lower maintenance and consumable costs on their production lines. This was one of the company’s key requirements when they decided to update their coding equipment, and as this was met so successfully, an order for a further five coders, which will be installed before the end of 2010, has now been placed.
