Leading aggregates packer and distributor CJB Bagging, part of Day Group, has achieved cost and time savings of 66% at its Tolworth site thanks to the installation of three Domino V300+ thermal transfer overlay (TTO) printers.

The first UK installation of Domino’s A320i service free ink jet printer, the latest addition to its best-selling A-series range, has taken place at Croda in Hull. Croda, a leading global manufacturer of natural based ingredients for markets including personal care, health care, polymer additives and lubricants earlier this year installed the A320i at Croda’s manufacturing facility in Hull, where it has been instrumental in the company’s ongoing transition to operating fully automated packaging lines.

Domino Printing Sciences has introduced a new fast-drying, high performance black ink for use on a wide range of plastic-based substrates for its world leading A-Series range of CIJ (continuous ink jet) printers. The MEK-based 299BK black ink offers excellent performance and readability qualities onto a host of challenging plastic materials where good adhesion and scratch resistance are often difficult to achieve.

Domino Printing Sciences has launched a new black Ethanol-based ink for use with its G-Series range of thermal ink jet (TIJ) printers. The new BK107 black ink comprises a host of benefits suited specifically to coding and marking applications within the confectionery and food markets, with exceptional adhesion properties and delivering the highest quality print for greater contrast and readability. The BK107 also presents a lower cost of ownership for users by presenting a number of cost saving features.

Domino Printing Sciences, global leader in coding and marking solutions and preferred supplier to many multi-national tobacco companies, will present its latest laser, ink jet & labelling solutions designed for the tobacco sector at TABEXPO 2011.

Global product identification specialist Domino has formed a European group dedicated to helping pharmaceutical manufacturers comply with the new stringent regulations contained in the European Union’s Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) implementation - 2001/83/EC - which is now under way.
