Press Networking Events/Parties
Most journalists love a good party and throwing an annual gathering either at Christmas or around a landmark date in your company’s calendar is a fantastic way of both thanking them for their editorial support over the year and building your company’s relationship with them.
There may be a number of journalists who you have spoken with by telephone or by email but have never actually met. There are also undoubtedly a number of senior executives within your organisation who do not normally have contact with the press, but who would benefit from networking with the media. Organising an informal event or party is a perfect vehicle to cultivate stronger links between your company and the press who operate in your marketplace.
The event could take the form of a day or evening at the races, a riverboat trip, lunch at a top restaurant or an evening drinks and canapés reception at a unique and unusual venue. Examples of such venues are the London Aquarium or Old Trafford in the UK, or perhaps the Jules Verne restaurant of the Eiffel Tower in Paris or even a conference room of the European Parliament in Brussels. We are experienced in venue selection across the whole of Europe.
Whatever your budget, the AD Events team will ensure that the press have a memorable time, taking care of all the logistics and planning, allowing you to concentrate on relationship building and networking.
To discuss ideas, options and a budget for your forthcoming event, please contact our Events Director, Victoria Harvey for an informal chat.
